 Ina’s Story --Education for Spouse Caregivers is a six-session program under development that uses the real story of one caregiver to help other caregivers access the support they need and learn what they need to know. 

 

 

The curriculum of this program is being built around "Ina's Story", a narrative written by Ina Feidelman that begins with the earliest signs and indications of her husband’s illness and proceeds in chapters presented at each session through to the end of the caregiving role.  Each chapter will bring to life the emotional, psychological and practical challenges of a particular moment in the journey of a spouse caregiver.  This program is a unique collaboration between a psychologist and a caregiver who worked together from the beginning to the end of Ina's time caring for her husband.
